MKM Supporting Women in Need - Help Us Share the Dignity

My Kids Market is proud to announce that we will be continuing our partnership with national charity Share the Dignity as a Local Drop off for donations of sanitary items at all of our events in 2020.

How can you help? Share the Dignity are holding their #dignitydrive during March and My Kids Market will have a Pink Collection Box at the entrance point of each of our Market locations including Five Dock, Sutherland, Hornsby, Newcastle and Kellyville where the team are asking all those who attend the markets as stall holders or shoppers to drop off a packet of pads or tampons to donate to Homeless Women and those in need.

“We are really passionate about supporting a charity that supports women. Our biggest shoppers are Mums or Mums to Be so it is a perfect fit for us. Share the Dignity supports homeless women and girls as well as those fleeing domestic violence by providing them with simple things that we take for granted such as sanitary items”.

“I am just so proud to be able to support this worthy charity and I know our My Kids Market  community will continue to embrace this fantastic initiative” said Jennifer Harrison, My Kids Market NSW Director “We are just so thrilled to give back to the community and have already collected over 1200 donations for the charity since our partnership began in 2017.”

My Kids Market is all about the community and helping others as it provides families with the opportunity to purchase quality preloved items at huge savings. The market is filled with local stallholders recycling gently used items their kids have outgrown so families can declutter their home and earn some extra cash by recycling items instead of adding them to landfill.

Please look out for our #sharethedignity Pink Collection Box and drop off your donations next time you visit your local MKM.
