Stallholders FAQ
 
 
 
  Here are some of the frequently asked questions we receive from our stallholders.  
     
     I am interested in having a stall at My Kids Market NSW  
     
  Please visit the "Selling at the Markets" section of the website to view the Stallholder Information and follow the prompts to Book A Stall. The cost of a stall starts at $58 for Pre Loved and $92 for Business stalls. Check the Market Location pages for the actual cost of stalls at the market you wish to attend.  
     
     What payment methods do you accept?  
     
  All bookings are taken online and payments are processed via Paypal, this can be done from your Paypal account or directly from your credit card.  
     
     I have to cancel my stall – what options are available?  
     
  There are no refunds or transfers of bookings for change of mind. Should you be unable to attend a market due to extreme circumstances we may offer a transfer to another date at the same location given availability. Please note that this is at My Kids Market’s discretion.  
     
     I would like to promote my small business at the market do you allow this?  
     
  We would love you to showcase your business at the market, please refer to the Business Stall/New Goods Stall Hire section for further information.   
     
     I make goods from home but I’m not a business, what stall type do I book?  
     
  Anyone selling new or handmade items is required to book a business stall, please refer to the Business Stall section for further information.  
     
     I only have large items to sell do I need to book a stall?  
     
  In order to sell any item at the market you are required to register as a member and book a stall. You may like to ask a friend to share a stall with you.  
     
     When and Where are the Markets are on?

     How can I be kept up to date with the upcoming My Kids Markets NSW?  
     
 

There are many ways to find out about an upcoming market near you:

  1. Check out the Market dates on our website. Please note you need to register and be a member to view the market dates. 
  2. Sign up to our Enewsletter to be reminded of the upcoming market dates and to be notified of other exciting market news. You can also check the News section of the website where we will be posting articles/blogs and news.
  3. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and join the events you are interested in and you will receive notifications closer to the market date.
 
     
     The Market is showing as sold out. Can I go on a waitlist?  
     
  Due to the number of enquiries and various locations we do not keep waitlists for the markets. If we do receive a cancellation the stall will be reset and the market be will be reopened for booking so please keep an eye on the Book a Stall page. Please note that most cancellations are received in the week leading up to the market so be sure to keep checking the website daily during this time.  
     
     When do the stall bookings open for each Market?  
     
  Once a market has taken place, the next market in that location will open for booking. The booking dates for each market will also be displayed on the Book a Stall page.  
     
     Do you offer any selling tips?  
     
  Yes, we have complied an extensive list to assist you please refer to Selling Tips. You will also find other important information about setting up a stall on our Stallholder Information page.
 
     
     Can I hire a clothes rack?  
     
  Unfortunately we don’t have clothes racks for hire. You are required to bring your own. You can buy cheap ones from Discount Stores or you may be able to borrow one from a friend.    
     
     I don’t have enough items for a stall, can I share it with a friend?  
     
  Of course! Just ensure you are both clear on how much you each have to sell as we often see overloaded stalls as a result of this. Too many items on a stall can look untidy and overcrowded and will often deter shoppers.  
     
     I have booked a stall for pre-loved goods, can I sell some of my handmade things at my stall?  
     
  A Pre Loved stall is for pre-loved goods only, if you wish to sell handmade items please refer to the New Goods section for detailed information.  
     
     I have a few un-used/new items still in their original packaging. Can I sell these at my stall?  
     
  If they have been gifts or items you have bought and simply not used you may bring them along to sell at your pre loved stall.
